Health Window Service in Bangladesh [ Shastho Batayon ]

The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has launched a service called Health Window with the aim of opening a new horizon in the health sector of Bangladesh. To get the service, dial 16263 from any part of Bangladesh from mobile or landline. This helpline is at your service 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day.

What is a health window [ Shastho Batayon ]?

Health Window is a service operated by the MIS Division of the Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Synesis IT Limited, a mobile healthcare provider, manages the health window service. You can consult a doctor directly on any health related issue by calling the Health Window Helpline number 16263 (sixty two sixty three). This helpline is at your service 24 hours a day.

In addition, you can get information from government hospitals, doctor’s information or any other information and phone number related to healthcare. If you have any complaints or suggestions regarding public-private health services or hospitals, you can report to this number.

The complaint will be reported to the appropriate authority and you will also be informed of the action taken on your complaint. Remember your phone number and personal information are very important to us. We are responsible for not disclosing this number to any person or organization. We would like to point out that Health Window is not a commercial service and it does not incur additional bill for normal mobile phone bills.

After dialing 16263, press 0 (zero) to talk to your doctor directly for advice on your health.

• If you want to know more about your nearest government hospital, doctor information or healthcare, press 1.
• If you want to know the information of public-private ambulance, press 2.
• If you have a complaint about a public-private hospital, clinic or other public healthcare, press 3.
• If you want to report an accident, press 4.
